As what we have mentioned earlier in our previous post, we went to Marina Bay Sands (MBS).
Basically MBS is a good place to chill out with your friends and family. In addition, it is also a good place for sight seeing the wonderful creation and different kind of facilities found in MBS. We also found out that MBS is a good place to forget all our stress and problems.

A Skating Rink!
Well, this is not like the normal ice skating platform that we seen or known. However, this platform is made up of chopping boards or even tiles that resembles ice!

Here is the price list for the skating rink and rental of skates.
Other than at Kallang Leisure Park, you can also come here and skate and have the feeling of skating in different type of platform. Furthermore, the price here is cheaper.
Of course we do not just post it out here. for the sake of just letting you guys know. We did went out to try and have the feeling so that we can share our experience with all of you.

We had a bet of taking photo in the middle of the rink and there we are in the middle of the rink taking a group photo.
We decided to take a rest in the middle of the rink too! This is the platform that you do not have to worry of getting your pants, feet, hands wet or cold! Moreover, gloves are not a must to wear in this kind of skating.
Here we are back at the side of the rink.
After all the fun skating, do not forget about the purpose as to why MBS is built!

Which bridge could look both spectacular and cooling? Welcome to the Helix Bridge in Singapore! It is surprisingly windy since Singapore is a pretty humid country, though it does rain quite a lot. The first thing you notice is the winding spirals of the streamlined bridge. The spirals twist gracefully around, making anyone feel protected by the bridge. If you could slow down and just stand stone still on the bridge, you would wonder, "Hey, is it shaking?" It is. You could walk through the bridge ten times but still you cannot feel the gentle shake unless you decide on enjoying the marvelous scenery at night and feeling your soles for a while.
ReplyDeleteMarina Bay Sands contained an interesting area where you could enjoy your dinner and marvel at how some people manage to skate on ice. Yes, Marina Bay Sands has a skating rink! But the curious part is that the rink is surrounded by a few food stalls, allowing you to eat and relax while on the go for some excitement. Another fact that might stun you is that the rink is actually in fact made out of plastic. I wonder how some people skate on that...
I feel that Marina Bay Sands is a chic place to hang out. The scenery was pretty nice, especially during the night and the atmosphere there was refreshing all the time. It would be a wonderful place, both for Singaporeans and tourists to discover as Marina Bay Sands have many surprises in store.
Oh yeah, if you get to stay till night at Marina Bay Sands, don't forget to catch the laser fountain show for free!
